Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing patient relations grievances and complaints through face-to-face contact, letters, phone calls, emails, and patient satisfaction surveys.
- Investigating concerns through collaboration with administration, providers, managers, and supervisors for timely responses to patients and families.
- Facilitating grievance meetings and acting as a patient liaison.
- Directing patient inquiries and complaints to appropriate medical staff members and following up to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Explaining policies, procedures, and services to patients using medical or administrative knowledge.
