Compliance Officer

NOW HIRING: COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Southern Home Care Agency is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and detail-oriented Director/Compliance Officer to join our team. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing overall program compliance and ensuring the agency remains in accordance with applicable regulations, provider agreements, quality assurance standards, and waiver requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS — Must meet ONE of the following:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related profession

• 1 year of direct experience working with aged and disabled participants
• 2 years of supervisory experience

OR

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• 1 year of direct experience working with aged and disabled participants
• 2 years of supervisory experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

✅ Ensure continued compliance with administrative codes, provider agreements, state and federal laws, quality assurance standards, and waiver requirements

✅ Ensure mandatory employee training and certifications are completed and properly maintained

✅ Ensure required background checks are completed timely and appropriately documented

✅ Ensure OIG and Nursing Exclusion checks are completed and maintained

✅ Oversee and implement Corrective Action Plans when necessary

✅ Maintain audit-ready participant and employee records

✅ Conduct internal compliance reviews and file audits

✅ Monitor documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance

✅ Assist with regulatory audits, surveys, and reviews

✅ Provide compliance guidance and training to staff and leadership

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
