Position Summary
Southern Hills Plantation Club is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Player Assistant to help ensure an exceptional golf experience for members and guests. This role plays a key part in maintaining pace of play, supporting golfers on the course, and upholding the high standards of the club.
Compensation
$14.00 per hour | Part-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor pace of play and assist groups in maintaining proper timing on the course
- Provide a welcoming and helpful presence to members and guests throughout their round
- Communicate with the Golf Shop and outside services team regarding course flow and player needs
- Assist with starting duties as needed, including organizing tee times and greeting players
- Enforce club policies and etiquette in a professional and courteous manner
- Support overall golf operations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of golf etiquette preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Pay: $14.00 per hour
