We're seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our healthcare team at the Madison County Detention Center. If you're dependable, compassionate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do
?? Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a secure correctional healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing patient assessments and nursing care within scope of practice
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Responding to medical emergencies with confidence and professionalism
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical documentation
- Collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and facility staff
- Educating patients on health conditions and treatment plans
- Promoting a safe, respectful, and professional clinical environment

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
? Current Alabama LPN license or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification
? Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
? Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
? Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
? Correctional healthcare experience is welcomed but not required. We provide training!
