Southern Health Partners is looking for a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Calhoun County Jail in Alabama.

🩺 What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Provide sick call, chronic care, and routine nursing services
• Respond to urgent and emergent medical needs
• Recognize changes in patient condition and take appropriate action
• Communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and correctional staff
• Promote a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment
• Practice within your professional scope, licensure, and established clinical guidelines

📋 What You'll Need

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Alabama
• Current CPR certification
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative healthcare team
• Professionalism, compassion, and respect for patient confidentiality
• Ability to work effectively in a structured correctional environment
