As an LPN, you'll work alongside experienced medical professionals delivering patient-centered care in a structured, team-oriented environment where every day brings meaningful opportunities to use your clinical skills.
🩺 What You'll Do
- Deliver quality nursing care under established policies and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Complete patient assessments and accurately document care.
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergency medical situations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and fellow nursing staff.
- Educate patients on health concerns and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Help promote a safe, professional, and compassionate healthcare environment.
✅ Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Current Alabama LPN license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
- Correctional or emergency nursing experience is a plus, but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
