Southern Health Partners is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide onsite mental health services at the Duplin County Jail in North Carolina.
This is a great opportunity for a Psychiatric RN, Social Worker, or Counselor who wants to provide meaningful behavioral health support in a correctional healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide onsite mental health services to patients within the facility
- Complete mental health assessments and identify behavioral health needs
- Provide counseling, support, and appropriate interventions
- Monitor patients and recognize changes in mental health status
- Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and support individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Assist with crisis intervention and mental health referrals as appropriate
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all applicable policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Qualified candidates may include:
- Psychiatric RN
- Licensed Counselor
- Social Worker
Additional qualifications include:
- Current, unrestricted professional license or credentials applicable to the position
- Mental health or behavioral health experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, professional mental health care
- Must be able to provide onsite coverage at the facility
