Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable PRN nurse who is flexible and available to work both day shift and night shift coverage at the Surry County Jail. This is not a set-schedule position, and candidates must be willing to rotate between days and nights based on facility needs.

• Deliver direct patient care in a correctional healthcare environment
• Administer medications and treatments
• Conduct assessments, sick call, and intake screenings
• Respond to urgent and routine medical concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and correctional staff
✅ Qualifications
• Active LPN or RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Must be flexible to work both day and night shifts
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Previous correctional or emergency nursing experience is a plus
