Southern Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Stokes County Jail.

Correctional healthcare offers the opportunity to provide hands-on nursing care in a structured, secure environment while serving a population with real healthcare needs. You'll work alongside a dedicated clinical team while using your nursing skills to make a difference every day.

💚 What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a safe and secure correctional setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and established protocols
• Complete intake screenings and nursing assessments
• Monitor patient conditions and identify changes requiring intervention or follow-up
• Respond to routine and urgent healthcare needs
• Communicate with providers and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support continuity of care and positive patient outcomes
• Provide professional, compassionate care to every patient

✅ What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
• Current CPR certification
• Previous correctional, behavioral health, or relevant nursing experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Dependability and professionalism
• Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend
