We’re looking for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team at the Wood County Jail in Wisconsin. This position follows a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
Schedule
⏰ Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
⏰ Saturday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
📅 Rotation includes every other weekend

What You’ll Do
- Deliver direct patient care in a secure correctional environment
- Administer medications and treatments
- Conduct assessments and document inmate health concerns
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff
- Respond to medical needs with professionalism and confidence
- Help create a safe, respectful, and efficient healthcare environment
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Correctional or emergency nursing experience is helpful, but not required
