Looking for a nursing position that offers meaningful work, a supportive team, and a schedule that gives you more days off each month? Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Toombs County Jail.
Correctional nursing is fast-paced, rewarding, and allows you to use your assessment skills while providing compassionate care to an underserved population. No two days are alike, and you'll be supported by experienced healthcare professionals every step of the way.
π Job Responsibilities
β’ Deliver patient-focused nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
β’ Administer medications and treatments as ordered
β’ Perform assessments and document findings accurately
β’ Respond to sick calls and urgent medical needs
β’ Collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
β’ Maintain professional standards while promoting quality healthcare services
Accountability for doing what you say you will do; build self credibility and company credibility by holding self and coworkers accountable
Listens, understands, agrees and commits to achievement of objectives as a part of Medical Team environment
Alters behaviors based on feedback, when behaviors are perceived by others as offensive or embarrassing
Respects the dignity and confidentiality of all patients
Does the right thing consistently, day in and day out, in task and relationship interactions to fulfill or further SHPβs mission and pledge as a nurse
Qualifications:β Qualifications
β’ Active Georgia LPN license
β’ Current CPR certification
β’ Strong assessment and communication skills
β’ Correctional or medical-surgical experience preferred, but not required
β’ Ability to obtain facility security clearance
