Position Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments

Complete intake screenings and ongoing assessments

Respond to sick call requests and medical needs

Monitor and manage chronic conditions

Provide patient education

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Collaborate with medical and facility staff
Correctional nursing allows you to practice with autonomy while following clear protocols and established workflows.
Qualifications:Qualifications

Active Alabama LPN license

Current CPR certification

Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills

Ability to work independently

Correctional, emergency, or primary care experience preferred but not required
