What You'll Do
As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll be an important part of the healthcare team, helping ensure safe and efficient medication administration throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering medications as permitted by certification and facility protocols
- Accurately documenting medication administration records
- Observing patients and reporting concerns to nursing staff
- Assisting with medication inventory and accountability procedures
- Supporting nurses and providers with daily healthcare operations
- Maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies
- Promoting a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Previous healthcare or correctional experience is helpful but not required
