Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the warehouse operation to assist with proper handling, storage, and loading of inventory on to delivery trucks.
- $24.50/hour
- 4-day work week (Monday – Thursday)
- OT hours required
- Report each night at 7:00PM
- Eligibility to join the local Teamsters Union 653
Job Responsibilities
- Loading trucks using forklift, picker, two-wheeler or hand jack.
- Read customer orders from computer printed route sheet for items to be moved, gathered, and/or shipped.
- Sorting and placing bottles, cases or kegs on pallets, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, route, or code.
- Filling stock request items and delivering to shipping or to designated storage or picking areas.
- Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe.
- Work in the bottle room, picking individual bottles.
- Requires work with others in a group or team.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED or relative work experience.
- Forklift or order picker experience a plus but not required.
- Requires lifting a minimum of 60 lbs.
- Requires ability to push/pull an excess of 160 lbs. on a two-wheel hand truck
- Requires ability to repeatedly bend, reach, walk, twist while handling product weighing 5lbs.to 55 lbs.
