Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces, performing landscape maintenance, and assisting with various landscaping projects.
Duties:
- Trim trees and shrubs to ensure they are healthy and aesthetically pleasing
- Maintain landscapes by mowing, edging, and weeding, blowing
- Care for trees by planting, pruning, and removing as needed
- Assist in building landscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, and fences
- Dig and prepare the ground for planting flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Perform groundskeeping tasks to keep outdoor areas clean and organized
- Assist with hardscape projects including installing patios, decks, and outdoor structures
- Irrigate plants and lawns to maintain proper hydration levels
- irrigation installations and repairs
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Skills:
- Proficiency in tree trimming techniques
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices
- Experience in tree care including planting and pruning
- Ability to build landscape features with attention to detail
- Skill in digging and preparing soil for planting
- Understanding of groundskeeping principles for outdoor upkeep
- Familiarity with hardscape installation methods
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and watering schedules
- Competence in using various power tools for landscaping tasks
