Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf healthy and vibrant
- Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements through pruning, trimming, planting, and cleaning
- Operate hand tools and power equipment like trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and lawnmowers safely and efficiently
- Conduct irrigation system inspections and repairs to ensure proper watering schedules for all plantings
- Support construction projects involving landscaping or hardscape installation using excavators and other machinery
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening roles
- Knowledge of horticulture principles including tree care, pruning techniques, and plant health management
- Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and excavators safely
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, snow plowing equipment, and hardscape installation is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep and safety standards
- Drivers license prefered (Not required)
