Duties
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cashing out guests, processing payments, and balancing registers at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality settings, with strong cocktail making skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS; ability to process transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, and spirits handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Food safety certification o knowledge of proper food handling procedures is preferred.
- Previous experience with retail math, cash handling, or cashiering is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
