Responsibilities

• Develops and implements enterprise-wide quality control and inspection policies and strategic initiatives to enhance overall operational excellence.
• Directs the analysis of complex quality system data to identify systemic vulnerabilities and drive proactive, long-term improvement strategies across all business units.
• Serves as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies, ensuring all company practices align with national and industry-specific standards.
• Leads highly complex root cause analysis investigations for critical incidents, implementing high-impact corrective and preventative actions that affect the entire organization.
• Designs and executes comprehensive, high-stakes training programs to disseminate advanced inspection and quality assurance expertise and foster a culture of quality control leadership.
• Champions innovation by evaluating and integrating cutting-edge inspection technologies and methodologies.
• Provides executive-level advisement on all inspection and quality control matters, influencing key strategic decisions and resource allocation within the company.
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in quality control/inspection, utility construction, or utility engineering.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related technical field.
• Strategic leadership experience in aerial inspections, wildfire mitigation, or utility operations, with emphasis on safety and compliance.
• Experience in UAS technologies and aerial deployment; FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and industry benchmarking skills.
  
  

Additional Information

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
