The Rehab Office Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a physical therapy/rehabilitation clinic in Laurel, MS. This position is responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient schedules, and serving as a primary point of contact between patients, therapists, and insurance providers. The coordinator facilitates communication among clinical staff and external parties to optimize patient care and clinic workflow. By maintaining accurate records and managing billing processes, the coordinator supports the financial health of the practice. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working specifically in a rehabilitation or physical therapy setting.
