Role Description The Plumbing Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Shreveport, LA. This role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixture installations, and water heater service. Daily tasks include performing scheduled maintenance, responding to service calls, inspecting plumbing systems, and recommending appropriate repair or replacement options. The technician will interact directly with customers, explain findings and solutions in clear terms, provide accurate estimates, and ensure work areas are clean and safe after each job. Qualifications
- Strong Maintenance & Repair skills with a focus on residential plumbing systems
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting plumbing issues and diagnosing system problems
- Experience in Field Service work, including traveling to customer locations and working independently
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication and professional conduct
- Ability to perform routine Maintenance to prevent equipment and system failures
- Relevant plumbing certifications or licenses as required by Louisiana regulations
- Solid understanding of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices
- Ability to lift and move equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle physical aspects of the job
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Previous experience as a plumbing technician or in a related trade is strongly preferred
