Key Responsibilities
- Finish concrete for sidewalks, curb & gutter, and drainage structures
- Place, screed, float, edge, broom, and finish concrete to grade
- Assist with forming, pouring, and finishing roadway concrete work
- Finish manholes, inlets, and other drainage components
- Ensure concrete meets project specifications and tolerances
- Install control joints and expansion joints
- Apply curing compounds and surface treatments
- Maintain finishing tools and equipment
- Work with crew members to maintain productivity and safety
- Follow all jobsite safety and quality standards
- Experience finishing concrete in a construction environment
- Experience with curb, sidewalk, or drainage concrete preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to jobsites throughout the Atlanta area
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- 1 years of concrete finishing experience
- DOT or roadway project experience
- Experience working with heavy civil crews
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
