We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Rigging Foreman to lead and oversee rigging operations on construction sites. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate rigging activities, including the setup and operation of cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
- Ensure all rigging operations adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and project requirements
- Lead a team of riggers and heavy equipment operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Plan and execute materials handling procedures for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials within the site or warehouse
- Inspect rigging gear, cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery regularly for safety and operational readiness
- Collaborate with general manager, site supervisors, and logistics teams to schedule equipment use and optimize workflow
Requirements
- Proven experience in site operations with a focus on rigging, heavy equipment operation, or related roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge of cranes, forklifts, jacking, skating, and other heavy machinery
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience operating various types of construction vehicles
- Hands-on experience with materials handling techniques including shipping & receiving procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and construction site logistics processes
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, safety guidelines, and project plans accurately
