Responsibilities
- Operate 100-ton cranes with precision, ensuring safe lifting and movement of heavy materials on construction sites
- Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of crane equipment to identify potential issues before use
- Coordinate with ground personnel to plan lifts and ensure proper rigging techniques are applied
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure work environment
- Assist with materials handling, including loading and unloading supplies using forklifts, boom trucks, or other heavy equipment
- Support the setup and dismantling of crane operations, including rigging and securing loads for transport or placement
- Maintain detailed logs of crane operation activities, inspections, and any incidents or anomalies
Experience
- Proven experience operating 100-ton cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to perform rigging tasks safely and effectively
- Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and boom trucks
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects or industrial sites is highly desirable
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to crane operation or heavy equipment driving is preferred
