- Outreach to county schools
- Recruit students aged 14-21 from schools in Fairfield, Perry, Morgan, Hocking, Vinton, Athens, Jackson, and Meigs Counties
- Document outreach activities including date, name of school, number of students talked to, and response
- Serve on steering/recruitment committee
- Serve as personal aide during the forum
- Participate as a speaker/facilitator during the forum
- Be available and present for all 20 hours of programming during YLF
Position comes with a pay of $500 - $2000 payable at the rate of $15 - $30 per hour, as negotiated with Executive Director of SOCIL
Four positions will be available - 2 based in Lancaster and 2 based in Athens, with a preference given to those with experience in regional school systems and personal disability experience. Must be able to recruit youth with disabilities and provide support during programming.
Must be available for one week in the summer to support SOCIL staff with YLF and for 3-5 hours per week to support recruitment and outreach.
Pay: $13.10 - $25.00 per hour
