We're looking for a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with your hands, love heavy machinery, and want to build a career with unparalleled advancement opportunities, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of equipment:
- Dirt movers
- Lifts
- Paving and milling machines
- Environmental equipment
- Conduct functionality and safety tests
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain issues
- Utilize laptops and tablets to run diagnostics
- Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Follow all OSHA and EPA safety standards
- Stay current on training and manufacturer certifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in shop or field service repair
- Technical Skills:
- Very Strong diagnostic skills especially: 12/24 volt electrical wiring and hydraulics
- Proficiency with diagnostics tools and software
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl without restrictions
- Other Requirements:
- High school diploma or trade school certification
- Valid driver's license
- Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen (includes testing for medical marijuana)
