Primary Functions of Position
- Develop and teach courses covering turfgrass management, sports field maintenance, and related horticulture topics. Teaching may be online, in the classroom, or in a laboratory setting and can include day, evening, and weekend hours.
- Maintain, review, and update course outlines to ensure content is relevant and aligns with state and accreditation standards.
- Help maintain and ensure the safety of classroom and laboratory spaces, including equipment and supplies.
- Stay current with the instructional field and teaching strategies through professional development activities.
