Southeast Restoration Group (SRG), a faith-based company, is looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Recruiting Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you’ll help build the future of SRG by identifying, attracting, and selecting top-quality team members who align with our mission and values. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers across the organization, design effective recruiting strategies, and ensure a positive experience for every candidate.
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
Recruiting
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and execute effective recruitment strategies
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, screening questions, and postings that reflect SRG’s mission and values
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process - sourcing, screening, interviews, and coordinating offers
- Build and nurture candidate pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs
- Represent SRG at job fairs, networking events, and community outreach opportunities
- Ensure every candidate experiences a professional, welcoming, and values-driven hiring process
- Maintain organized candidate records and recruiting data, track key hiring metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, conversion rates), and provide leadership with regular reports and recommendations for process improvement.
- Assist with compliance tracking, background checks, and reference verification
- Provide administrative support to the Director of HR on projects and day-to-day operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and communication
- 2–4 years of recruiting experience (construction, restoration, or trades industry preferred)
- Comfortable with high-volume hiring for field and skilled trade roles, as well as professional positions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, schools, and community partners
- Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent in using systems to manage multiple roles simultaneously
- Passion for serving others and aligning talent with purpose-driven work
