What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN XRAY/MRI Technologist position at Southeast Neuroscience Center?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated XRAY/MRI Technologist to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. If you're passionate about patient care and eager to work in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!
Requirements:
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography with current valid registration.
- Must meet Louisiana State licensure requirements.
- BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
- New grads welcome!
Responsibilities:
XRAY
- Position patients for X-rays.
- Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Review images for quality and accuracy.
MRI
- Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly.
- Participate in quality assurance programs.
- Perform a range of MRI procedures, from routine to complex, following established protocols.
