Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Orleans, LA, for an Xray Technologist. The Xray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring patient safety through radiation safety protocols, maintaining and operating radiology equipment, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Additional duties include accurate documentation, maintaining equipment functionality, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety practices and protocols
- Solid understanding of Radiologic Technology and Radiology
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety standards and work collaboratively in a clinical environment
- Previous experience in orthopedic imaging is a plus
