Job Duties:

This position will be responsible for monitoring program progress and implementation of community assessments related to prevention program performance and needed overdose prevention resources specific to each region. The Overdose Prevention Monitor (OPM) will work in conjunction with the Overdose Prevention Coordinators (OPOCs) to develop and deploy community assessments to determine prevention needs and interests in expanding linkage to care activities. The Bureau of Community Preparedness (BCP) State-level Overdose Prevention Project Manager provides oversight to this position. Responsibilities include implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the Overdose Data to Action for States (OD2A-S) grant. Additional duties include delivering opioid-related presentations, training, technical assistance and resources as required in the deployment of surveys and dissemination of findings at the state and regional levels

Minimum Qualifications:

Five years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR

A bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR

An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus one year of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.

Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently, proficiency in Excel and Word, and attention to detail.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
