What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Nurse Practitioner (FNP) position at Southeast Healthcare?
We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to underserved communities in rural Ohio. We are seeking a contingent (PRN) Family Nurse Practitioner to join our integrated care team to provide comprehensive primary care services, including health assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, preventive care, health education, and care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic test results.
- Deliver preventive care, including routine screenings, immunizations, and health education.
- Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health providers, and community resources.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support organizational performance measures.
- Promote a welcoming, respectful, and culturally responsive environment for all patients.
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio.
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
- Experience in family practice, community health, or an FQHC setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse populations.
