Medical Technologist, Hematology Second Shift

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the laboratory setting, performing various tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a strong background in medical technology, as well as proficiency in laboratory procedures and protocols. The Medical Technologist will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of laboratory tests, including CBCs, Urinalysis and Coagulation testing.
• Manage data effectively, maintaining accurate records of test results and laboratory procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory environment.
• Participate in quality control measures to uphold the integrity of laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with healthcare professionals and team members.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Clinical laboratory: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CNA (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Medical Technologist (Preferred)
