What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worship Leader - Southwest Campus position at Southeast Christian Church?
To partner with our Worship Team and the SW Campus team in carrying out the vision of developing a vibrant worship culture that supports the Vision/Mission and Strategies of SCC. As well as investing in/shepherding volunteers to lead and share that same Vision/Mission.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Planning services with the Worship Team
- Shepherd, lead, disciple, train and equip volunteers
- Scheduling volunteers
- Running rehearsals
- Learning new songs
- Come alongside the Southwest Campus team/church family by assisting by creating worship environment for all ages
- Pastoral roles – weddings, funerals, etc.
What We Are Looking For:
- Pastor / Shepherd at Heart
- Strong communication skills
- Musical skills and lead vocal ability
- Proven volunteer recruitment and training skills
- Desire to work with people
- Strong work ethic and is a team player/collaborator
Our Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from a Bible College is preferred but not required
- Experience in leading worship (minimum of 3 years)
- Ordained Minister of the Gospel
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one
