What are the responsibilities and job description for the Connections Pastor - SE Recovery position at Southeast Christian Church?
The Recovery Connections Pastor walks alongside individuals in active addiction recovery, helping them take meaningful next steps in their spiritual growth and discipleship. This role partners closely with clients, staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers to equip and establish healthy small‑group environments. The Recovery Connections Pastor also ensures all efforts align with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church. What You Will Be Doing:
- Work with clinical staff and SE Disciple-Making Team to develop and implement Spiritual Pathways strategies for those in addiction recovery.
- Provide pastoral care and oversight for on campus small group environments and work with local community pastors as needed for the spiritual development of those in addiction recovery.
- Provide oversight and leadership to regional leaders, interns and certain recovery clients.
- Primary oversight of group engagement in alignment with SECC’s disciple-making strategy.
- Participate in normal pastoral responsibilities as required.
- Rotating platform host responsibilities.

Our Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2 years ministry experience preferred.
- Currently resides in or is willing to relocate to the Elizabethtown area.
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.

- Leads by example fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship and giving.
