Job Title: Summer STEAM Program Facilitators Grades 1-8
Job Description: This position involves leading activities and lessons for a section of students going into grades 1-8 for Summer STEAM. Responsibilities include: leading, assisting in, and working with a team to provide instruction and activities; leading camp sessions; and supervising transportation of students before and after program hours. Other duties as assigned.
Summer STEAM will run from June 22 through July 30, 2026, Monday - Thursday. There will be additional paid opportunities for staff interested in working bus supervision, family engagement events, and at the end of the program to assist with the pack-up of Summer STEAM materials. There will be some required training dates for staff during the week of June 15th, which will be communicated to all hired staff once details are finalized. This position will report from 7:30am - 3:30pm (reporting times will vary if doing bus supervision) at one of our Summer STEAM sites, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The pay rate is $18.07/hour. Applicants who are available for the entirety of the program will be considered first.
Qualifications: Experience with working in a summer camp setting and leading activities with youth. Enrolled in, graduated from or on track for a Bachelor's degree program preferred.
