Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and efficient Metal Saw Operator to join our metal truss manufacturing team. This role focuses on cutting metal components using a bandsaw while maintaining accuracy, speed, and consistent production output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate metal-cutting bandsaw to cut materials to precise specifications
- Accurately read and use a tape measure
- Meet or exceed hourly production quotas
- Inspect materials to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bandsaw or metal cutting experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong tape measure and basic math skills REQUIRED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
