Job Summary:
We are hiring a reliable Machine Operator for our metal truss production team. This position involves operating a punching and clipping machine to process metal components with speed and accuracy. The ideal candidate is comfortable with repetitive tasks and can maintain consistent production output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load metal pieces (“sticks”) into punching and clipping machine
- Operate machine to punch and clip metal according to specifications
- Repeat and mirror the same process on both sides of the machine
- Ensure parts are processed accurately and meet quality standards
- Maintain steady workflow to meet hourly production quotas
- Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Machine operating experience preferred (manufacturing experience a plus)
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for long periods
