Duties

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance nursing services, aligning with organizational goals and industry standards
• Follow rules for CMS regulations
• Manage the nursing department’s budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources while maintaining fiscal responsibility
• Oversee staffing levels, staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development to maintain a highly skilled team
• Ensure compliance with all state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards
• Provide leadership in clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives
• Collaborate with executive leadership to establish policies that support organizational objectives and promote a positive work environment
• Lead efforts in instructional leadership by fostering continuous education and mentorship among nursing staff
• Supervise personnel management activities including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
• Promote a culture of excellence through effective team management, clear communication, and organizational accountability
• Stay abreast of advancements in healthcare practices and integrate innovative solutions into daily operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in management within healthcare or educational settings with a focus on nursing or health services administration
• Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational management
• In-depth knowledge of state-specific education laws related to healthcare training programs or nursing education (if applicable)
• Demonstrated leadership in academic or instructional environments with experience in school or university settings preferred
• Exceptional staff supervision skills with a track record of building cohesive teams through personnel management in education or healthcare contexts
• Expertise in education administration combined with school experience or school administrative director experience is highly desirable
• Ability to lead organizational change initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality care and compliance
• Excellent communication skills suited for executive leadership roles involving diverse stakeholders
• A valid nursing license along with relevant certifications demonstrating advanced clinical expertise and leadership capabilities

Pay: $95,185.38 - $114,631.85 per year
