Substitute Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide athletic training coverage for assigned athletic practices and contests.
• Assess and provide first aid for athletic injuries.
• Assist with injury prevention, evaluation, and care of student-athletes.
• Communicate with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers as appropriate.
• Maintain appropriate documentation related to athletic injuries and treatments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of athletic training practices.
• Current New York State Athletic Trainer license (or eligibility) preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and other assigned athletic events.
• Current Southampton UFSD employee preferred
