Job Description
The South Wood County YMCA is currently seeking qualified teachers for sites in Nekoosa . Qualified applicants will have prior Early Childhood experience and be current on CPR/First Aid/AED. Hours are Monday thru Friday 6:45- 9:00 am and 3:30 - 6:00pm. With a possibility of additional hours 11:00-1:00 Summer hours available as well.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide interactive, fun and educational care.
- Assist in creating weekly lesson plans that include a variety of activities with children through stories, games and outdoor play.
- Licensing procedures to ensure quality care is being provided.
- Positive relationships with children, parents and site employees.
Qualifications/prior experience:
- School-age environment experience helpful
- CPR/First Aid/AED certificates.
- Knowledge of Wisconsin Child Care licensing standards is preferred, however training is provided onsite.
