About the Role: This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to oversee a $15M business unit with strong growth potential. As Underground Drains Service & Sewer Install Manager, you’ll lead jetting, excavation, and install operations—driving revenue, margin, and team performance. You’ll be accountable for operational execution, safety, and customer satisfaction, while developing high-performing field and support teams. This role partners closely with senior leadership to streamline systems, elevate standards, and build scalable results. We’re looking for a driven operator who sets a high bar—and has the discipline, vision, and grit to help others reach it.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Sewer & Underground team, including Jetting, Excavation, Spot Repairs, and Install Crews.
  • Driver operational performance through Revenue and Gross Margin tracking and improvement, aligned to the strategy of the Executive Team. 
  • Drive customer satisfaction by promoting quality work, timely execution, and professionalism.
  • Develop, coach, and support supervisors, field staff, and support roles to achieve high performance.
  • Conduct weekly 1-on-1s, performance reviews, hiring, and corrective coaching as needed.
  • Identify revenue opportunities by Cross Functional Collaboration within the business. 
  • Ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to company standards.
  • Approve work plans, purchase orders, payroll, and invoices in alignment with company policy.
  • Oversee equipment and vehicle usage within your department to company standard of safety and usage.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement—across systems, safety, training, and field execution.
  • Foster a high-accountability team environment grounded in pride, safety, and top-tier workmanship.
  • * This is an on-site role, 5/days a week and will require a mix of office and field time.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred—or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, construction, or field services. 
  • Proven track record managing performance and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in underground utilities, sewer, plumbing, or construction preferred.
  • Skilled in job costing, scheduling, and operational systems- Service Titan or equivalent ERP a plus. 
  • Strong communicator with a bias for action, high standards, and hands-on leadership style.
