- Serve as the primary front desk contact for the District Office, greeting visitors, answering inquiries, directing calls, and maintaining a professional and organized office environment.
- Assist in preparation of School Board meeting materials, including compiling agendas, attachments, and cover pages into complete board packets.
- Support School Board meeting logistics and documentation, including preparing printed materials, assisting with meeting setup when required, compiling notes for minutes, and completing post-meeting filing.
- Assist with the coordination of the district policy review process, including maintaining tracking spreadsheets, monitoring updates from the Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA), comparing revised policies with current policies, and distributing updates to appropriate departments for review.
- Provide administrative support for community election processes, including organizing and maintaining required election documentation and records.
- Coordinate the Student School Board Representative application process, including updating application materials, permission forms, and organizing submitted documentation.
- Assist with administrative coordination of the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council, including organizing application materials and maintaining related records.
- Coordinate and support District events and special projects, ensuring effective planning, organization, and execution of program details and logistics, including districtwide events and recognition initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) to three (3) years of clerical experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Associate degree or two-year technical certificate preferred.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish or another language preferred.
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary for professional communication.
- Knowledge of data privacy rules and regulations related to student and staff information.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Word, Excel, and Outlook.
