What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director - H&W position at South Shore YMCA?
The Director of Health & Well-being is responsible for the administration, program growth, and community awareness of the Health & Wellbeing programs. This includes but is not limited to the leadership of the Health & Well-being Center, Group Exercise, Personal Training, Medical Wellness & Special Populations, Partnership Program, Interns and Volunteers, and any other developmental programs or community health initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field is preferred
- ACSM or ACE certified is required.
- Effective teaching skills, the ability to deliver excellent customer service, and a high level of enthusiasm are required.
- The ability to develop positive, effective working relationships with staff, parents, volunteers, community partners, and members are critical to this position.
- Excellent communication skills
- Technically proficient with the Microsoft office suite.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability in fitness programming for members of all levels and abilities
