Marina Dock Hand/Store Clerk

The South Shore Marina is looking for someone to join their full time staff. We are a business whose success is based on our customers' trust and service. Due to our fast paced environment, we are looking for someone who can self motivate and fill different roles as needed.

This job entails:

• Cashier duties
• Clerical duties (answering phones, filing papers, etc.)
• Cleaning and maintaining docks and facilities
• Assist customers with docking of boats
• Instructing boat renters on how to operate and safely drive boats
• Fuel, clean, and maintain boats
• Having great customer service skills when working with the public
• Other tasks assigned to them by manager

Requirements & Qualifications:

A friendly outgoing individual will be best suited for this position. Must be able to communicate and work with all marina members on a daily basis. Customer service is the number one priority.

• Motivated and self-driven individual who can work alone on projects
• Able to work in a team environment
• Basic tool knowledge (hand tools and power tools will be used)
• Basic facility maintenance knowledge
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs of weight
• Must be able to be on feet most of the day, working outside in high temperatures
• Construction and mechanical experience is a plus
• Boating and marina experience is a plus
• We will train a motivated individual
• May through October will require working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Must be at least 18 years of age by date of employment
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary

Pay: $15.16 - $17.00 per hour
