What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Preschool EEC position at South Shore Community Action Council, Inc.?
Core Duties: Demographic children ages 3-5. Develop and implement daily
lessons & curriculum plans using creative curriculum. Creates and
maintains a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the
physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Perform
teaching activities that align with the Head Start Performance Standards
regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring and other various
Activities As Assigned. Core Qualifications Commonwealth Of
Massachusetts EEC Lead Teacher preschool certification required. CDA,
associate degree, or bachelor?s degree in early childhood (or related
field) degree preferred. Must be able to speak and understand English.
Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Arabic helpful, although not
required. Preferred to have experience with children 3-12 yrs. Minimum
Requirements at employment: All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF,
SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment.
