The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:
- Providing direct patient care following state, federal, and facility guidelines
- Supervising CNAs
- Administering Medication
- Wound treatment and care
- Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance with the facility nursing policy and procedure
- Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for Nurse review
- A valid and active RN license from the state of Minnesota
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Experience in supervising and/or management
- Familiarity with healthcare facility policies, procedures, and protocols is important for a charge nurse
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate patient care, and ensure smooth operations in their unit
- Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
