Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, promote and coordinate the delivery of services to identified students and parents through involvement in various school programs and other activities; perform translation duties between English to a second language as assigned by the position; perform liaison duties between schools and parents; refer families to local agencies or school services as appropriate; locate and identify students and families in accordance with established guidelines; prepare and maintain related files, records and reports; provide front office assistance and perform related clerical duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent GED and one year of experience working in an instructional or community service program or related field. Licenses and Other Requirements: Valid California Class C driver’s license. Incumbents in this classification are required to speak, read and write in a designated second language.
