Job Summary
Under the direction of the Nutrition Services Operations Supervisor, assist in quantity preparation and serving of foods at the central kitchen or assigned school site; assist in maintaining food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid and appropriate food service certificate(s). • Incumbents are required to adhere to the annual minimum required training hours for School Nutrition Staff per the USDA Guide to Professional Standards for School Nutritional Programs. The department will assist the selected candidates in obtaining Serv Safe Food Handlers Certification within the first 6 months of employment.
