Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
- Support infants and toddlers with feeding, diapering, nap routines, and developmental milestones
- Manage behavioral challenges with positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on children's progress and needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment aligned with childcare standards
- Assist children with classroom activities, playtime, and educational exercises to foster growth in childhood development
- Collaborate with other staff team members to ensure a smooth-running center that prioritizes the well-being of the children.
Skills
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development is preferred.
- Ability to provide first aid and handle emergency situations confidently
- Experience caring for infants as well as toddlers with specialized care techniques
- Ability to provide behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills for working with children and families and other staff.
