Overview:
We are urgently seeking an energetic, reliable, and flexible Childcare Provider to join our Lighthouse family. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants and toddlers.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment.
- Follow established routines and schedules for meals, naps, and playtime.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary.
- Create a learning routine and daily crafts with children to ensure they are meeting their developmental milestones.
Skills:
- Experience working with children in a childcare, nannying, or daycare setting
- Knowledge of age-appropriate caregiving techniques and child development milestones
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and their families
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures
-Other training will be provided upon hire to ensure compliance with the State of Wyoming and the safety of our children.
